The Bengal breed was developed in the 1970s by crossing domestic cats with the Asian leopard cat, creating a striking appearance with wild-like spotted or marbled coats. Today’s Bengals are fully domestic, bred for their exotic looks and playful nature.
Personality-wise, Bengals are energetic, intelligent, and highly active. They enjoy climbing, playing, and even water activities. Social and curious, they thrive in interactive environments and form strong bonds with their families, though they need plenty of stimulation to stay happy.
