Vaccination & Vet Schedule

Vaccinations

Kittens need protection against common but serious diseases like feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia (FVRCP).
In the first year, your kitten will receive three (3) core vaccinations at scheduled intervals.
After that, they only need one (1) booster shot each year to maintain immunity.
Always bring your cat’s vaccination card to the vet so they can follow the correct schedule.

Deworm & Deflea

To keep your cat healthy, deworming and defleaing should be done regularly. The general recommendation is every three (3) months, but it can vary depending on diet and lifestyle.

Deworming:

If feeding raw meat → deworm once a month, as raw diets increase parasite risk.
If feeding only dry or cooked food → deworm every 3 months.

Defleaing:

Indoor cats → every 3 months is usually enough.
Outdoor cats → treat more frequently, as needed, since they’re exposed to higher flea risks.

Products to Use

For Deworming: Tablets, liquids, or topical spot-on treatments specifically made for cats.

For Defleaing: Options include topical solutions, oral flea meds, flea collars, or flea shampoos. Always choose cat-safe products and avoid those made for dogs, as they can be toxic to cats
