Feeding Schedule & Food Transition

Feed according to the instructions on the kibble packaging, adjusting for age and activity level. Kittens need 3-4 small meals daily.

(70-80 grams per meal for 3-4 months kittens.)

New Kibble/Food Transition

If you’re changing your kitten’s kibble, do it slowly to keep their tummy happy. A sudden switch can cause diarrhea or loss of appetite. The best way is to mix the new kibble with the old one little by little.

Here’s an easy guide:

Day 1 – 2: Mix 25% new kibble with 75% current kibble.

Day 3–4: Mix 50% new kibble with 50% current kibble.

Day 5–6: Mix 75% new kibble with 25% current kibble.

Day 7 onwards: Your kitten should now be fully adjusted and can eat 100% new kibble.

Throughout the transition, monitor your kitten’s stool and appetite. If you notice soft stools, vomiting, or refusal to eat, slow down the process by extending each stage a few more days. Always ensure fresh water is available.
